Our programs promote an understanding of Latin America and the Caribbean as well as Latino/Hispanic populations of the United States. The programs include a strong emphasis on community education and involvement. UCF offers both a bachelor’s degree and interdisciplinary minor in Latin American, Caribbean and Latinx Studies.
Our mission is to provide students with the necessary tools and relevant knowledge to understand, study, and work with Hispanic populations. Students will gain a broad and thorough understanding of the Americas in terms of their historical, cultural, social, economic, and political dimensions.
