The UCF Department of Modern Languages & Literatures offers courses in Chinese emphasize pronunciation (Hanyu Pinyin), characters (Hanzi), grammar, and basic conversational and composition skills. The goal of these courses assists students in communicating basic needs in daily activities in a Mandarin Chinese-speaking environment and enhancing their understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and civilizations.
