The Scholarships’ Applications for the Study Abroad Programs (sponsored by the Modern Languages Department) will be available from Monday, January 27 to Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. Please fill out an application at the UCF ‘Access 2 Opportunity’ (A20) site.
Criteria
- Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student at UCF in the College of Arts and Humanities
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Admitted to the Summer Study Abroad in Spain
- Preference will be given to students who have declared a major in Spanish, then to students with a minor in Spanish
- Preference will be given to students completing their junior year, followed by students completing their sophomore year
Applications
Students will be required to submit the following in order to be considered for this scholarship:
- A one (1) page essay, written in Spanish, describing why they would like to study in Spain and how this experience will enhance their academic pursuits
- Two (2) letters of recommendation (one from a current faculty member and one from a member of the community
