With the Spanish BA, you can not only be fluent in Spanish by the time you finish your specialization, but also have a knowledge of and competence in literature, linguistics, and the culture of the Spanish-speaking world, as well as translation and interpretation skills. We offer courses at all levels of language proficiency and in several modalities of teaching and learning. The size of our Spanish classes permits personal attention and approachability. The Spanish faculty counts with a vast experience and preparation in teaching language, linguistics, literatures, and culture. Our program welcomes students pursuing honors undergraduate thesis, research opportunities and High Impact Practices course designations.
