Academic Success Coaching
Did you know? Advising at UCF is now called Academic Success Coaching. Learn what this means for you here.
CAHSA is the primary office charged with providing academic support services to undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Humanities (CAH). Students in CAH are assigned an CAHSA Academic Success Coach (ASC). CAHSA actively seeks to schedule advising appointments with students on an ongoing basis. To ensure awareness of the resources and opportunities available at the university, optimize their individualized experience, and ensure a timely graduation, CAH students are encouraged to promptly respond to requests from their assigned Academic Success Coach.
CAHSA offers both in-person and virtual services
- For support, students in CAH majors should email their assigned Academic Success Coach, which can be found in their myUCF Student Center, or Schedule your appointment online via MyKnight STAR. All other inquiries should be directed to cahsa@ucf.edu.
- For instructions on how to make an appointment, visit https://youtu.be/_N9JjbcS9w8
- Please email cahsa@ucf.edu if you:
- Have a CAH minor, certificate, or second major declared and are not assigned to an Academic Success Coach within CAHSA.
- Are interested in declaring a College of Arts & Humanities major/minor/certificate
- Are not a current UCF student but are interested in pursuing a CAH program.
GET ADVISING!
In CAHSA, you are assigned an advisor by the first letter of your last name. If you are unsure who your advisor is, check out our advisor assignments. The best way to reach your advisor is by email from your UCF email account. As a reminder, you should be checking your UCF email daily!
The Arts and Humanities Matter
The NEH and NEA support critical initiatives for UCF faculty and students
The NEA and its counterpart, the National Endowment for the Humanities, enrich the lives of communities through access to the arts. Like UCF, these agencies are fostering creativity, inspiring future generations, and lifting lives and livelihoods throughout our community.
