The Florida Prison Education Project, which provides educational opportunities to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a current UCF student who was formerly incarcerated or who is system impacted.
Selection Criteria
- Full-time UCF student (graduate or undergraduate).
- Student needs to have at least one more year at UCF.
- Holds a GPA of 2.0.
- Strong commitment to Higher Education in Prison.
- This scholarship is for students who are formerly incarcerated, system-impacted, or demonstrate a commitment to social justice.
Award
$1,000 – Awarded annually in Spring for the next academic year.
