Student Designer, Print and Web

Open to current UCF students, this part-time position offers flexible hours, convenient location and interesting projects with the UCF School of Performing Arts and the UCF College of Arts & Humanities.

Duties

Assist with the graphic design needs of the School of Performing Arts and College of Arts & Humanities:

  • Promote events, programs, students and faculty to a diverse audience by creating marketing materials such as posters, magazines, brochures, social media graphics and websites
  • Create impactful designs for print and web while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Develop products from concept to print-ready document
  • Coordinate with other designers, clients and printers
  • Utilize and help maintain photo and video library

Preferred qualifications

  • Possess strong creativity and design skills for composition, color and typography
  • Experience with page layout for print media
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite with strong InDesign skills
  • Photo-editing skills
  • Ability to take ownership over projects and follow through to completion
  • Ability to meet deadlines with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent communication skills

Position pays $13-15 hourly, up to 15 hours per week, through December 2021. Position may be extended, based on the needs of the college
