The Doris Boyden Scholarship provides $500 to a history major or graduate student with demonstrated financial need. This scholarship was endowed by Julian Boyden, M.A. ’12, because of his belief in the importance of understanding history in today’s global society.
Selection Criteria
- 250-Word Essay answering the following: What is the importance of History in today’s world?
- The applicant must be enrolled in the College of Arts and Humanities and majoring in history.
- The applicant must demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth in the FAFSA.
