The Richmond I. Barge Scholarship provides one $500 scholarship each spring to a deserving undergraduate student. The scholarship is renewable. Winners must reapply to be considered for an additional year.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum overall average must be a "C/3.2 GPA" or better
- Degree Audit
- Student must be junior standing seeking the completion of a degree program in the Humanities with a preference given to the field of History
- 500-word essay answering the following: How do you plan to use your history degree and the skills you acquired at UCF in your career after graduation?
- Financial need will be considered in making awards but NOT required
