Biography
Matt Dombrowski (MFA, University of Central Florida) is the Assistant Director of the UCF School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD), Animation & Visualization Area Coordinator, and an Associate Professor of Emerging Media. As Creative Director of Limbitless Solutions Inc., a nonprofit within UCF, Matt leads an interdisciplinary team developing visually expressive 3D-printed bionic arms, alternative game controllers, and gamified training systems that empower children with limb differences.
Recognized for his innovative teaching, Matt has earned the CAH Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award four times, the University Award for Undergraduate Teaching, and the Chuck Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching. His creative and research contributions have been spotlighted by Adobe, Unity, Autodesk, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, GDC, SXSW EDU, and the Gates Foundation.
In 2023, Matt was named an Adobe Creator to Watch and awarded both a Unity for Humanity Grant and an Epic MegaGrant. As an Adobe Creative Innovator and Adobe Education Leader (AEL), he collaborates with industry giants such as Adobe, Microsoft, Autodesk, Wacom, Riot Games, and 343 Studios to push the boundaries of accessible technology and visual storytelling. Matt’s work reflects his deep commitment to integrating digital creative practices for societal betterment and advancing accessibility through art and technology.
