Biography
Dr. Kim is an associate professor in the Department of Art at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She received her Ph.D. in Design Communication from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and currently teaches Computer Graphics at UCF. In addition to her teaching, Dr. Kim is a graphic artist and is actively involved in both national and international exhibitions featuring her work in countries including China, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, and Uzbekistan. Her most recent solo exhibition was held in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Dr. Kim's research papers have also been presented at both national and international conferences, and her articles have been published in professional journals. Her scholarly interests are interactive web design for seniors, usability and legibility in interface design, cross-cultural differences in visual perception, color and typographic design, and design education.
