In this course, you will learn the importance of usability in technical communication and various usability testing methods. This course teaches the principles and practices of usability testing by having students design and execute a usability study of a piece of technical communication. The course will simulate a real-world project whereby students will collaborate to plan a usability study, create the necessary protocols and testing materials, execute the test, and report the findings. |
