Your Best American Girl

I remember the moment I realized what it meant to feel black. It wasn’t when I first moved into the dorms in the crowded summer of ‘17 and was the only black person in my suite. It wasn’t when I started attending smaller classes and would be the one of the only black people in the room.

Stories that Heal: An Interview with Dr. Arellano

From the Editors

Welcome to Imprint, a University of Central Florida Student Publication.

As a student run magazine supported by the Writing and Rhetoric department, our mission is to Entertain, Empower, and Evoke Action in order to leave a lasting impression on the UCF student population.

This publication reflects articles written by student writers who are looking for an opportunity to voice their ideas and opinions  about the community.

You do not need to be a part of the DWR (Department of Writing and Rhetoric) to submit an article for Imprint.  It is a publication written by students of all majors.  We hope you enjoy the work of your fellow UCF Knights!
