CAH Events: Cancellations and Postponements Due to Hurricane Ian

September 27, 2022  The UCF campus will be closed for operations on Wednesday and Thursday, and classes are also canceled on Friday. All public events scheduled for those days will be canceled or rescheduled.

SVAD MFA Alum Awarded Endowed Chair at Valencia College

September 23, 2022  Dominic DiPaolo ’15MFA  has been awarded the University Club of Orlando Chair in Advanced Computer Technology at Valencia College. The Endowed Chair for Learning Leadership Program honors outstanding members of the Valencia teaching faculty and provides resources needed for the advancement of instruction at Valencia.

September 08, 2022  UCF faculty, alumni and students are featured among 50 artists exhibited at Snap! Gallery’s 2022 Florida Showcase. Now in its fifth year, the 2022 Florida Showcase celebrates Florida-based photographers and artists. The exhibition is currently on view through Jan. 14, 2023, at Snap! Downtown Orlando.

Student-Run Arts Ambassador Program Looks to Increase Arts Engagement on Campus

August 18, 2022  Students from all majors are invited to join the new Arts Ambassador program, which seeks to bring more attention to UCF’s visual arts, theatre and music activities. The first meeting is on Monday, August 22 at 6 p.m. in Studio One of the Performing Arts Center-Theatre (building 119).
