Eligibility
This endowed scholarship fund at the University of Central Florida, College of Arts and Humanities and the School of Visual Arts and Design provides awards to students enrolled in the above schools that are seeking a Bachelor of Design in architecture and exhibiting levels of design and academic excellence. The Scholarship will be awarded annually and paid on a semester basis.
Each recipient of the scholarship will be selected based on the following established criteria:
- Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Central Florida as a full-time or part-time junior or senior student in the College of Arts and Humanities and the School of Visual Arts and Design.
- The applicant must be seeking a Bachelor of Design in Architecture.
- The student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- The applicant must demonstrate financial need based upon guidelines set forth in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- The student must submit a 2-page spread of design work completed during tenure in UCF architecture program. Only PDF format for submissions, MAX 5MB, will be accepted.
- Though a reference contact is not required for initial submission, the student may be required to submit one further into the selection process.
All awards will be processed through the University Office of Student Financial Assistance. This Scholarship, to the extent funds are available, will be used to pay for tuition, textbooks, fees, and any other items included in the cost of education.
