UCF’s Sax Boot Camp is a three-day, intensive program designed to educate and inspire young saxophonists. Daily masterclasses will provide continual and concentrated input from George Weremchuk. In addition to the daily curriculum, guest artists will lead classes.

Registration Fees

A reservation fee of $50 is non-refundable and will be used towards the cost of tuition. Tuition does not include a $35 administrative fee to Acceptd.

Early Registration Tuition

$200 by May 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Late Registration Tuition

$250 after May 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Registration Deadline

Applications will close on June 1, 2024 or when camps reach capacity. A 15% discount is available for a second child.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds of camp tuition must be submitted no later than 11 business days prior to camp start date. No refunds will be considered within two weeks prior to the start of the camp session. Transaction fees paid to Accepted during registration are non-refundable, and a $50 processing fee is deducted from all refunds.

10:00-11:00am - Saxophone Master Class (Dr. Weremchuk)

11:00am-12:00pm – Zumba

12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch

1:00-2:00pm - Saxophone Quartet (Dr. Weremchuk)

2:00-3:00pm - Saxophone Choir

3:00pm - Check-out INSIDE Performing Arts Center Music Building reception area

 

Day 2

8:00-9:00am - Yoga at the Performing Arts Center M120 (Escribano)

9:00-10:00am – Saxophone History

9:45-10:45 – Jazz

11:00am-12:00pm – Zumba

12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch

12:30-1:00pm - Tutoring sessions with assistants

1:00-2:00pm - Saxophone Quartet (Dr. Weremchuk)

2:00-3:00pm - Saxophone Choir

3:00pm - Check-out INSIDE Performing Arts Center Music Building reception area

 

Day 3

9:00-10:00am - Chamber music

10:45-11:45pm – Jazz

12:00-1:00pm – Lunch

1:00-2:00pm - Saxophone Quartet (Dr. Weremchuk)

2:00-3:00pm - Saxophone Choir

3:00-4:00pm - Boot Camp showcase. Final concert

Parking Garage I (next to PAC Music Building) for $5 per day, or metered parking in front of the Music Building, next to Parking Garage I in a “green” spot. Please note that the red or blue parking is for faculty and staff only and will result in a ticket, including in front of the Burnett Honors College and Rehearsal Hall.

Overnight campers will stay in UCF's Libra Community housing.

Drop-off for housing will be inside the Performing Arts Center - Music Building at the Box Office. Check-in time for students that are staying in housing will be announced in the spring.

Check-out will occur in the morning on the last day of camp. Luggage storage will be available.

Linens and towels are provided.
