The annual CAH staff awards recognize employees who have delivered exemplary service to the college and UCF.

Congratulations to the faculty members who have been selected to receive 2019-20 UCF Teaching Incentive Program (TIP) Awards or Research Incentive Awards (RIA). 

Taylor Pryor, an English literature major, is the 2020 Order of Pegasus recipient for the College of Arts and Humanities.

This year, 30 CAH faculty members received promotion or tenure to celebrate their successes.

This research excellence award stipend supports individuals pursuing advanced research near completion and of value to women’s and gender scholars.

UCF’s Learning Institute for Elders (LIFE) is honoring English professor Terry Thaxton for her work with the Literary Arts Partnership.

Faculty members from across the college are honored for the 2020 Founders’ Day Honors Convocation, which recognizes UCF faculty members and students from across disciplines for their academic achievements, contributions and tenures.

UCF English graduate Jaquira Díaz ’06 was named as one of the 10 winners of the 2020 Whiting Award for emerging writers, earning her a $50,000 prize. Her debut memoir, Ordinary Girls, is about her challenging childhood growing up in the projects of Puerto Rico and Miami Beach, and her coming of age.
