On Friday, April 18, we held the Spring 2014 WAC Fellows Showcase. Teams of faculty from Criminal Justice, Nursing, and Modern Languages and Literatures presented the materials they developed with our help this semester. That was followed by the presentation of the first Schell Award for Innovative Writing Instruction in the Disciplines. The award was given by UCF Vice President and Chief of Staff Rick Schell who had endowed it, to associate professor of history Daniel Murphree. Please check the website later for more news on both events, including the materials developed by this semester’s fellows and an interview with the Schell Award winner Dan Murphree.
