Music Minor
Minor
Most programs in the UCF School of Performing Arts require an audition or interview.
The Music Minor is for students who want to study music but are not pursuing it as a major. Students will take core foundational classes as well as several elective courses that fit their goals and interests.
While Music Minor students cannot take private lesson, major ensembles are open to all students on campus with some ensemble participation counting toward elective credits. Some ensembles require an audition.
Notes
The music minor is unrestricted so you do not need to audition to become a minor. You can either go to the registrar’s office of your college advising office to fill out the appropriate paperwork.
