László Marosi’s Recent CD Recognized as Recording of the Month

UCF Music professor László Marosi’s recent CD, Ferenc Farkas Music for Wind Ensemble, has been recognized as “recording of the month” on MusicWeb International. The CD, a selection of works by Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas, was conducted by László with the Budapest Wind Symphony, and includes works from chamber groups to full wind bands.

The The MusicWeb International review, written by Dan Morgan, describes László’s conducting work as being “firm, but not overly so, and that makes for buoyant, highly engaging performances.”

László, born in Sarvar, Hungary, has conducted with the Budapest Symphonic Band, the Liszt Academy Wind Orchestra, the Budapest State Operetta Theatre Orchestra, the Matav Symphony Orchestra, the Strauss Symphony Orchestra, and the FSU University Symphony Orchestra and Wind Orchestra, prior to teaching conducting courses at UCF.
