Marosi Releases a CD Featuring the Music of Roland Szentpali

Laszlo Marosi, Ph.D., recently released his latest CD featuring the music of composer Roland Szentpali.

Szentpali himself performs his tuba concerto, a piece which was selected as a four-time obligatory piece at the World Tuba Contest in Paris.

The second selection features Bence Szepesi on clarinet, tarogato and soprano saxophone. The selection is a rhapsody composed in three movements, written specifically for the soloist. The final composition features both soloists. Marosi conducts the Gyor Symphonic Band and soloists on all three selections.

The recording can be purchased at justforbrass.com

Marosi, an Associate Professor at UCF, teaches conducting and music theory.
