On June 2014, Dr. Jahani joined the Women Studies program. Dr. Jahani finds the use of technology in evaluating the social and educational status of women, a fascinating subject. She is currently collaborating with Dr. M.C. Santana on a research project relating to women in various cultures. Her future research interests will concentrate on examining the role of the religious and political systems across cultural divides and how education and technology can make a material impact on women’s lives all over the world.
Dr. Sheida Jahani hold a B.S. in Agriculture Economy, an M.A. in Educational Administration and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology. Dr Jahani joined UCF in 2012 as a post doctorate research associate. She started her work at UCF with the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL), focusing her research on faculty professional development. Her interest in technology later took her to UCF’S Center for Distributed Learning where her research focused on faculty professional development and technology.
