This fall, the UCF School of Performing Arts welcomed two new choirs: a children’s choir and community choir. The inaugural singers of both groups will take the stage on December 2 at Knights Season of Joy: A UCF Choral Celebration. This new holiday tradition will feature all of the classic songs of the season.
The choirs are directed by Jeffery Redding and Kelly Miller. Redding is a Grammy-winning educator and UCF’s director of choral activities, and Miller is the music-education director of choirs. Miller will be honored by the Florida Music Education Association as the college music educator of the year in January.
