Throughout the hybrid workshop series, themed experience graduate students and alumni will create new realms with one of the industry’s most innovative leaders.

The UCF campus will be closed for operations on Wednesday and Thursday, and classes are also canceled on Friday. All public events scheduled for those days will be canceled or rescheduled.

Peter Weishar, UCF’s themed experience program director, shares how UCF is preparing graduates to make an impact in this multi-billion dollar field by providing the industry training, insight and connections needed to succeed.

The College of Arts and Humanities extends a welcome to new and familiar faces during the transition of some critical administrative and staff roles.

UCF’s first class of students in the new Themed Experience program are set to graduate from the university this spring. A group of 10 grads will be the first to complete the unique master’s degree track for creative interdisciplinary careers in Orlando’s hospitality and tourism industry.

Associate Dean Lynn Hepner ’95MA is retiring from UCF on August 7. Her ability to anticipate the needs of the college and to provide the right data at the right time has made her invaluable to CAH.

“We asked for a ‘little help from our friends’ this year, and our friends delivered,” says Jeff Moore, dean of the College of Arts and Humanities.

As part of InPark Magazine’s roundtable, Peter Weishar shared information about the Themed Experience MFA and M.S. programs, the advantages of being located in Central Florida, and the future of graduates in the industry.
