The College of Arts and Humanities is proud to celebrate the success and achievements of our faculty.

Faculty, staff and students from the College of Arts and Humanities being recognized at UCF’s Founders Day on April 2.

The qualifying teams for the APPE Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl national championship advanced from 13 Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl regionals that took place last fall from California to the Chesapeake Bay. More than 160 universities and colleges — including UCF — participated.

The UCF Ethics Bowl Team has won the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics’ Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl Championship for the third time in the past five years.

Ann Gleig was a co-organizer of the Heartwood-Northwestern Symposium on Sexual Violence in Buddhism: Centering Survivor’s Voices, which addressed the sensitive subject of sexual abuse within Buddhist communities.

The 2024 “Reaching for the Stars as a Global Citizen: An Intellectual Journey of Asia and the World” lecture series will be hosted at the University of Central Florida for the second time this fall.

The UCF College of Arts and Humanities welcomes new faculty members joining our college in fall 2024.
