The ancient town of Pompeii, destroyed by an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, has long fascinated society. This fall, the Orlando Science Center will host the traveling exhibition, “Pompeii: The Immortal City,” and two UCF collaborations from the College of Arts and Humanities will be featured.

With the observance on Oct. 11, students can enroll in leadership, interviewing, and other life and career skill courses, which are intended to empower girls all-year long.

Stella Sung’s third opera will be a musical adaptation of “The Secret River,” a children’s fantasy book by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.

The UCF College of Arts and Humanities is hosting a series of talks from the faculty highlighting research and teaching in arts and humanities. The summer speaker series will run from June 18 through July 23.
