TaraShea Nesbit

TaraShea Nesbit is the author of The Wives of Los Alamos, which was a national bestseller, a New York Times Editors’ Choice, a finalist for the PEN/Bingham Prize, a Library Journal Best Debut, the winner of two New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards, and published in several languages. Her essays, on topics as varied as scientific history, class ascension, grief, and girlhood, have been featured in The Guardian, Fourth Genre, Salon, The Iowa Review, Quarterly West, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. She was awarded a 2018 Creative Writing Fellowship from the American Antiquarian Society for her novel-in-progress, Beheld. She earned a Ph.D. in Literature and Creative Writing (Prose) from the University of Denver and an M.F.A. in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis. She is an Assistant Professor of fiction and nonfiction at Miami University.
