Theatre UCF’s Theatre for Young Audiences graduate program brings to life Naomi Iizuka’s electrifying mythical tale of Boom, son of Thunder.

From the moment light flashes and thunder crashes, audiences are swept into an epic adventure of self-discovery and courage. Forced from home by a cruel stepfather, Boom embarks on a quest where he must confront the forces of nature and face off against enchanted forest creatures. Will he find the inner strength to prevail? Combining Japanese fairy tales and folklore, Naomi Iizuka’s thrilling theatrical parable offers young audiences an unforgettable blend of magic, courage, and wonder.
