The College of Health Professions and Sciences Rehabilitation Innovation Center uses holoportation technology for healthcare education through live beam experiences and a library of recorded content. See how it works with special appearances from community members, artists and health professionals.
Launched over three years ago, the hologram program has grown into a globally recognized model, expanding its reach both within the center and across the world. What began as a bold innovation has paved the way for widespread implementation in healthcare education, with many universities and organizations following suit. By leveraging high realism and a powerful sense of co-presence, the program delivers immersive, human-centered experiences that are transforming how clinicians are trained and how meaningful connections are made in healthcare environments. This work has been covered by over 200 national and international media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Axios, The New Yorker and Inside Higher Ed.
This exhibit is presented in partnership with the UCF College of Health Professions and Sciences. Learn more at healthprofessions.ucf.edu/rehabilitation-innovation-center.
