UCF Celebrates the Arts

The School of Visual Arts and Design’s Advanced Painting students create unique works for UCF Celebrates the Arts 2025.

Under the direction of Instructors Carla Poindexter, Ericka Sobrack and Nicholas Kalemba, students explore the dynamic intersection of reality and imagination, blending the tangible with the fantastical to create works that challenge perception and invite new interpretations. Through their work, they delve into the complexities of human experience, using the canvas as a space to merge the seen and unseen, the real and the imagined, in ways that provoke thought and stir emotion.
