UCF photography students will hold a one-night-only, “pop-up” gallery event tomorrow.
Graduating seniors from the Bachelor of Science in Photography program at the University of Central Florida, Daytona, will hold their 2015 graduation exhibition at an alternative gallery space on May 2 from 5-7pm. The event will take place at 1300 Brookhaven Dr. Orlando 32803.
Each year students who choose to enroll in the Museum and Gallery Practices class produce an exhibit of their thesis work, which represents their diverse personal styles and interests. Each artist’s work reflects the technical, creative, and critical skills they learned during their educational journey through the UCF B.S. in Photography degree program and the A.S. in Photographic Technology degree program at Daytona State College.
Beginning next week, the Southeast Museum of Photography will host a 2015 thesis exhibition, showcasing the work of all graduating seniors, on view from May 5 – July 31, 2015. An opening reception will be held on May 5, 5-7pm.
Together with the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona Beach, UCF and DSC form a consortium known as the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies.
