Abby Jaros ’14 has been Woman 1 in one of two national touring companies of Hamilton since February 2018. The smash Broadway hit telling the story of America’s founding is making its way to Dr. Phillips Center Walt Disney Theater in a sold-out run from January 22 to February 10. Jaros made her mark on the Theatre UCF stages as a talented dancer and passionate performer. Theatre faculty member Mark Brotherton directed Jaros in the title role of Kiss of the Spiderwoman remembers her as a considerate and creative collaborator.
“She was of course talented, and so professional. But it was her kindness, her willingness to help everyone else that stands out,” he said. “She created an atmosphere where optimal creativity could happen.”
