Orlando companies are leading the way in entertainment innovation used across the globe, says Michael Keller in an article posted on the Orlando Economic Partnerships’ website orlando.org. Alongside those companies, educational institutions like UCF are training the next generation of creatives to lead those companies into the future. The UCF College of Arts and Humanities’ Theatre MFA track in Themed Experience is a big part of that.
“The themed-entertainment industry is one of Florida’s largest employers,” said Jeff Moore, dean of the college. “Our goal is to work with the parks to ensure that our students are being trained to fill the creative positions they need.”
