The latest issue of Professional Artist Magazine features an online course and book from E. Brady Robinson.
The article also highlights UCF’s ART 5811 Professional Practice in Art, a fully online course developed and taught by Robinson. In this class, students learn professional practices that help prepare them for the national art market.
The article includes student success stories including the $1,000 United Arts of Central Florida grant awarded to Jay Flynn in 2012. Flynn, a graduate of the M.F.A. program, traveled to Rochester, NY to study the ambrotype photography process with Mark Osterman at George Eastman Kodak House. Paintings by Bryce Hammond, another M.F.A. grad, featured in Verge Art Fair during the Armory Show in 2011.
Robinson’s forthcoming book Tech in the 21st Century Classroom: Teaching Art Online is also reviewed in the article.
