On Saturday, May 16, Omalix Arlette’s artwork will be on exhibit at the Sirona Fine Art Gallery in Hallandale Beach, FL. The exhibition will feature paintings and photographs from Omalix’s body of work exploring aspects of womanhood.
The opening reception will held 6-9 p.m. and will include light hors d’oeuvres and complimentary wine. Omalix’s work will be on display May 16 through June 14.
The Venezuelan artist was also featured in the May issue of American Art Collector Magazine in an “Artist Focus.” During UCF Celebrates the Arts 2015, her painting Still was reproduced as a large scale installation at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts.
Omalix graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She is also a past winner of the J.R. Hopes Art Scholarship.
