UCF alumni Metrah Pashaee won the First Prize award at the 2014 Haverhill Experimental Film Festival in Haverhill, Massachusetts for her short video Human Body Battleground Organ Organism.
Human Body Battleground Organ Organism is an appropriated moving image collage investigating human sex organs as disembodied vessels. Utilizing a digital voice to narrate the scientific found footage, the filmmaker creates a witty, sarcastic, high camp romp through the juxtaposition of gender-specific sexual functions of the human body.
Metrah Pashaee is an experimental multi-media artist. She graduated UCF in 2012 with a B.A. in Film —Cinema Studies and a minor in Art History.
The Haverhill Experimental Film Festival is the only experimental film festival in Massachusetts.
