Sarah Brown ’19, graphic designer and beloved UCF alumna, passed away on July 9, 2023.
For those who knew Sarah, there is no doubt you witnessed her kindness, humility, and love for people firsthand. What made Sarah extra special was her ability to share these amazing traits with the world through her remarkable designs. The designs Sarah loved the most were those that would ultimately help and improve the lives of others, and there was no greater feeling to her than seeing those pieces make a lasting positive impact. Sarah not only believed her designs could make this world a better place, she ensured they would.
Sarah was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a confidante, and a mentor. She was a shining star.
Now, it is your time to carry on Sarah’s legacy.
Sarah brought 110% to everything she touched and her passion for the design industry is unmatched. She loved working in the creative field and developing engaging visuals that brought brands to life. By contributing to the UCF Foundation’s “Sarah Brown Shining Star Scholarship,” you will ensure that UCF visual arts students will receive financial support as they pursue their dreams of becoming a graphic designer.
