A History of Central Florida won the 2016 Hampton Dunn Internet Award for best media project concerning Florida history.
A History of Central Florida is a podcast produced by UCF’s Regional Initiative for Collection the History, Experiences and Stories of Central Florida.
The RICHES program has won the Dunn Award four years in a row with its podcast documentaries. Robert Cassanello, associate professor of history, is executive producer for the podcasts.
The Hampton Dunn Award is given out each year in May at the annual meeting of the Florida Historical Society.
