The Anita S. Wooten Gallery will host ‘Counterpoint,’ an exhibition of work by Kevin Haran.
The show features Haran’s 3-D models of miniature tanks, battleships and other war machines, along with mixed media drawings of UFOs.
A reception for the artist will be held on Thursday January 12, 2017, 5-7 p.m. The artist will give a gallery talk. The exhibition is on display January 12 through March 3. All events are free and open to the public.
Kevin Haran is an associate professor of art in UCF’s School of Visual Arts and Design. Kevin Haran has a B.F.A in Studio Art and a B.A. degree in Art History from the University of Central Florida. He earned an M.F.A. degree in Painting/Drawing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1991. Haran was Associate Curator of Education at the Knoxville Museum of Art before joining UCF.
The gallery is located at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail Orlando Fl. 32825 on the campus of Valencia College East (building 3).
