Orlando resident Carlos Navarro has had his Hollywood moments, having appeared in Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and AMC’s blockbuster “The Walking Dead.” Now, he’s helping UCF film students with filming their five-minute short film. “Rhapsodic” will tell the story of two criminals and a hostage at a safe house, which recently-shut down Wally’s will stand in for. Student films give Navarro a chance to mentor young aspiring entertainers while also allowing him a chance to support stories he likes.
