Four experimental animation graduates are showcasing their animated short film, The Falling Leaf, at LA CineFest, Orlando International Peace and Film Festival and the Miami Independent Film Festival.
The short tells the story of a young monk who is assigned a seemingly impossible task and follows his efforts to overcome the challenge through the use of his Shaolin training.
The animated short was created over the course of one semester as part of the 2015 Experimental Animation Workshop led by Associate Professor Scott F. Hall. The animators involved on the project are recent graduates Scott Harju, Jason Moorehouse, (Alton) Bradley Bradley and Giselle Jimenez.
Experimental Animation is an undergraduate B.F.A. studio art program in which students explore expression through innovative and hybrid analog and digital methodology.
