Matt Dombrowski has won the UCF College of Arts & Humanities Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award.
The award signifies a commitment to undergraduate education and affirms the recipient’s proven abilities as an excellent teacher.
Dombowski is an Assistant Professor in the School of Visual Arts and Design. His work focuses on digital art and simulated environments.
In addition to the recognition as a model educator at the UCF Founder’s Day Convocation in April, the award also brings with it a one-time monetary reward of $2,000.
SVAD Assistant Director Jason Burrell says, “Matt Dombrowski has been a leading and inspirational teacher for years now. His students always mention the applicability of his lessons (better than the text book), his helpfulness, and his eager giving of time for explanations. We are proud to see him recognized in a long line of remarkable College of Arts and Humanities professors.”
