Neuroscience research shows that arts education is a major driver of cognitive development, with benefits far beyond creative expression.

The UCF Wind Ensemble was one of six ensembles invited to perform at the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southern Division Conference. This year’s conference will be hosted at the University of South Florida in Tampa, February 19-21, 2026, and the ensemble’s performance will be at 7 PM on Thursday, February 19.
