Enter the magical Forest of Arden in Theatre UCF’s production of this Shakespeare comedy ripe with themes of hope, redemption and self-discovery.

Julia Listengarten, Pegasus Professor and artistic director of Theatre UCF, was honored with a 2022 Luminary Award for her use of the arts to help society confront difficult questions and promote positive change.

Joseph Rusnock, former longtime designer and associate professor in the School of Performing Arts passed away last week. He is remembered for his 33 years of work at UCF and his contributions to students.

This modern adaptation of the 1977 musical explores the lives of everyday laborers with heart, compassion and gratitude. Working will also be the 30th and final UCF production directed by musical theatre associate professor Earl D. Weaver.

Throughout the hybrid workshop series, themed experience graduate students and alumni will create new realms with one of the industry’s most innovative leaders.

The UCF campus will be closed for operations on Wednesday and Thursday, and classes are also canceled on Friday. All public events scheduled for those days will be canceled or rescheduled.

“The Interference,” onstage in an urgent, driving production at Theatre UCF, gives a sense of the jangling of emotions that must be felt by anyone who lives through a traumatic experience.
