The two five-minute films from the graduating Character Animation cohort of 2015, Snacktime and Enchanted Ink, are performing incredibly in the film and animation festival circuit. The shorts have won 11 awards and were official selections in 2 International, 15 National, and 8 Local venues. Enchanted Ink
Synopsis: Enchanted Ink is the story of May, a young Persian girl learning the magic of writing for the first time. Along the way she discovers that a simple mistake can make the magic go extraordinarily awry.

Snacktime
Synopsis: Snacktime is an adventurous comedy about a mischievous spirit’s hunger for gold, a pompous conquistador who has come to steal it, and an angry guardian determined to protect it.

Along with the tireless work of these amazing students, the projects were supervised by faculty director JoAnne Adams, and faculty advisors, Cheryl Cabrera, Darlene Hadrika, Phil Peters, and Stella Sung.
The Character Animation specialization is an Emerging Media B.F.A. in which students integrate the multiple domains of art, storytelling, and technology. The Character Animation specialization is designed to prepare students for careers as animators, modelers, riggers, or texture artists in the film or computer game industries.
