Anne Bubriski-McKenzie was the recipient of a Carnegie-Whitney Grant together with other UCF researchers, including Dr. Kristine J. Shrauger and Dr. Yolanda Hood from UCF’s John Hitt Library, and Dr. Liz Grauerholz from the Sociology Department.
The grant proposal titled “DIVerse Families: Growth in Family Diversity A Comprehensive Bibliography PK-12” will allow the researchers a chance to create a comprehensive bibliography and website that exemplifies the growing diversity of interracial and LGBTQ families in the United States.
This type of bibliography would provide teachers, librarians, children/young adults, and parents looking to empower their children with readily available resources. Congratulations to all and congratulations to our colleague, Anne!
