The UCF School of Visual Arts & Design proudly announces the winners of two award programs, the J.R. Hopes Art Scholarship and the J.R. Hopes “Eye for Broadway” Art Competition.
Both awards are dedicated to nurturing young artists at UCF, encouraging them to make an impact in the Orlando community and beyond.
Jim Hopes is sponsoring awards for all winners. Four recipients of the 2015-16 art scholarship will each receive a $3,000 scholarship for the upcoming academic year.

The “Eye for Broadway” competition invites SVAD students to create art inspired by upcoming Broadway performances at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Winners receive $500, and the chosen artworks will be displayed in the Dr. Phillips venue during the run of their respective Broadway shows.
