The University of Central Florida Art Gallery is proud to present “Leafstorm,” a mixed media exhibition featuring Mary Stewart from Florida State University. As a professor at Florida State Univerity, Stewart is both an artist and educator who is interested in expressing elements of time, memory and knowledge through a variety of media. Her current body of work explores how we construct and express knowledge in ourselves and in the world around us.

Mary Stewart: “Creativity + Critique”

After a brief introduction to her artwork, Professor Stewart will lead a lively discussion titled “From STEM to STREAM.” In it, she and the entire audience will explore connections between convergent and divergent thinking, and consider ways in which art and resources can enhance STEM area studies.
