The Cypress Dome Society is a literary organization at the University of Central Florida staffed by undergraduate students. Through our events, such as our monthly Open Mic sessions and general body meetings, and with our annual publication, The Cypress Dome, we seek to cultivate creativity, diversity, and a safe space for both graduate and undergraduate students to celebrate their love of reading, writing, and all things creative. Our mission is to help emerging writers break into the world of editing, publishing, and literary promotions. Past events have helped our members connect with published authors, learn about career opportunities, and workshop professional materials.
