Established in 1992, Flying Horse Editions functions as a research center for visual artists, inviting established artists to work in its state-of-the-art studio and collaborate during short-term residencies with its professional staff of highly trained artisans. These residencies result in meaningful exchanges for the artists, UCF students and the Central Florida community.
Flying Horse Edition’s mission is supported, in part, by a subscription program that is limited to 40 members. Subscribers gain access to private artist talks and demonstrations, and receive artwork produced in the studio during the year.
The Flying Horse Editions student internship program continues to profoundly impact UCF students. Through mentorship and hands-on experience with professional artists, interns had the opportunity to learn, grow and refine their craft by working in a professional studio environment. The program served as a launchpad for their artistic journeys, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the art world.
